I have so many friends who can eat whatever they want without working out and have a nice body. I know that genetic plays a huge part in this but for me it makes me feel so unfair; while they enjoy eating and relaxing, I have to always be careful of what I eat :( anyone face this problem?

There is already a thread on this going on right now. Maybe join that one.

Nope. Because I don't worry about other people.

I will say this: I'm a social eater. I eat more in a social setting than alone. I'm sure my friends think the same thing of me that don't understand calories in vs out.

This exactly. We see such a small snapshot of other people's lives - magic bodies do not exist.

But how do you know what/how much they are eating when you aren't around them? There's no way that someone can eat more calories than they need day after day and not gain weight. I used to think like this too until I realized that so much of what I was eating was in private. Even if I went out with my friends and they all ordered burgers and fries and I ordered a small salad, I was still just "having a snack" (i.e. another meal) after I got home late at night or I had already eaten too much during the day before I went out with them. Gotta keep things in perspective. You'll get there, but only if you're being honest with yourself and not worrying about what other people are eating.

Maybe your friends have a tube installed that shunts food into a little bag instead of their stomach. Sorta like a mix between a feeding tube (but reverse) and a colostomy bag. They eat whatever they want and then empty the bag into the garbage. It's highly unlikely but so is the concept of people without medical conditions eating whatever they want, above the average calorie needs of others that share their height, weight and gender, without gaining weight.

I would like to meet one of these mythical creatures. I imagine it would be like meeting a unicorn.

People rarely estimate or describe their eating habits correctly without a tool like MFP to keep them honest. It goes both ways. Some people overestimate what they eat, some people underestimate.

I had a friend who would stuff himself with a ridiculous amount of food when going out, but if you looked in his kitchen? It was just some vegetables and fruit. Dude barely ate except when he went out to a restaurant.
