Do you weigh your burger, chicken, fish etc cooked or uncooked? For my 93/7 hamburger for example, on the nutrition label it says 112 grams is 170 calories. Is that browned or raw? I assume they would be different weights with water content pre cooking. Thanks for any help and feel free to add other weighing foods FYI'S for myself and others who are curious. Happy Weighing!

The weight on the nutrition label will be for the uncooked weight unless it says otherwise. Weighing the meat (or any other ingredient) raw will give you the most accurate results. If you want to need to weigh the meat after cooking that's fine, but don't use the nutrition label information for that. Instead, find a trustworthy entry in the database for the type of meat and the type of cooking you used (grilled, boiled, baked, etc.).0
