I'm hitting my goals and ready for the home stretch!

I set out to start dropping weight around the end of September 2013. My initial goal was to hit 190 lbs (Starting at somewhere between 235-245, I don't really know) by June 30, 2014.

Well, as of this morning, I weighed in at 189.5! I know I'll bounce around for a week or so before I can say with certainty I'm under 190, but I consider it a goal I can check off. CLOSE ENOUGH! lol

At some point, I realized I need to lose more than what I initially thought, so I set a "final" goal of 173, but without a deadline. "Final" in the sense that puts me at the top end of healthy BMI and I can reassess at that point whether I like my body composition at that point or not. I'm used to having more muscle, but as I age, it's less important to me than agility and speed, as I've taken up running in the last year also.

I suppose I can mention that I've hit all my running goals and then some that I set at the beginning of this year:

Goal Miles to Run, Annual - 500 Actual YTD - 603 on pace for 1200+ for the year!
Goal 5K time <30 :00 Actual - 27:42
Goal 10K time <60:00 Actual - 56:24
Goal 10 Mile time <2:00:00 Actual - 1:55:54
Goal Half Marathon <2:30:00 Actual - 2:28:34

Goal Pushup, Annual >10,000 Actual YTD - 7901 on pace for over 16,000!

    Huge effort, that's great!

I found the same thing - I set my initial goal waaay too easy looking back - and as I've gone along I've reset my goals/expectations as I've hit them. It's fun! Awesome job with the running - I've been running a bit myself and enjoying it. Never thought I'd say that!

Never thought of myself as much of a bunny, but I'll take it! Yes, I'm happy. :)
