breakup during weightloss???

Just wondering if anyone else has gone through a tough breakup during their weight loss journey?? After only starting back on my diet and exercise for a week, my boyfriend for 3 years and I split. At first I was kinda relieved and used all those emotions to push me through my workouts and to watch my calories. Now that its week 3, Im really starting to have the breakup blues. I was just thinking if I heard how some of you got through it during an already life changing process that itd help push me through my little funk.

    So sorry you are going through this. I know the feeling. My advice is when you get to the angry phase (this may be anger at the person or just anger at the situation in general), channel your anger into your workouts. That's how I dealt with it. It can be extremely cathartic. Eventually, focusing on myself and my goals took my mind off of the fact that I wasn't half of a couple anymore after the end of an 8 year relationship. Things got much better after that. :flowerforyou:

    It seems that some people get a whole lot of motivation out of the whole "show him what he missing!" thing.
