Hi everybody
I was browsing around and found a recipe for a low cal chocolate cake. How real is this option to replace eggs with diet coke?
The video if you want to see:

I've made cake using a gluten-free cake mix and a can of diet soda. Turns out pretty decently, but it doesn't rise as high as it would with the eggs and oil in it. I cut mine into bars and froze some of them.0

I think Pepsi would mess with the flavor, sprite would blend in with most types of pastries. Personally, my best bet would be to replace the eggs needed with 1/2 a banana each( for leavening) and replace the oil with milk to help keep it moist and should help with the texture as well.
TLDR; You can use soda, but Pepsi and chocolate? ew.0 -
Hmmmm, I am now curious and will have to at least try it0

It will work. But add 1/4 cup applesauce so it will hold together.0
