Staying Active

Just a quick question, what do people do to stay active between intentional exercise?

I do T25 at the moment and it kicks my butt, but I feel guilty after dinner when I sit on the couch or in front of the computer. Should I be doing more activity after dinner I.e. walking while watching TV?

Hon, staying active is good for you but theres no need to have to stay active if you are putting in regular exercise. Don't feel guilty. Stay slightly under your calories and you will be fine.

I guess it depends on how quickly you want to lose weight, how much weight, and if you also really want to gain muscle. I try to fit in SOME KIND of exercise everyday, even if that's just getting to my goal of 10,000 steps on my FitBit. For me, the most important part of losing weight is eating fewer calories, so I religiously count calories 99.5% of the time. I fit in exercise when and where I can and try to exercise more on days I want to eat more. If you exercised earlier in the day and want to veg out after dinner, do it. I lost 25 pounds over 6 months, and sometimes it felt like it was taking forever, but here at 6 months, looking back, I feel like I just started this journey yesterday. Once you get there, you will feel like it took no time at all.

It's all about what you want, what you can live with, what makes you happy.

If you get an a good hour or so gym session, rest afterwords. It's not going to hurt you.

On my off days which is 2 days out of the week and weekends I do absolutely nothing, besides walk my dogs 3 miles.
