Afraid to lose weight, anyone else?

Hi MFP! I'm good about tracking in my notebook, I'm here for the community and you guys.
Intro: My body works fine, all of my weight is emotional. I'm looking to connect with folks in a similar boat. I was bullied for being skinny as a kid then turned to food for comfort in middle school and it's been a battle ever since. I can successfully lose 15lbs before seeing my body change, then I freak out and eat buttered toast. Using portion control feels like I'm validating the anorexia insults in elementary school even though I know that's not true.
I'm sensitive about my body and I'm braced for the hateful and uncalled for comments when I reach my goal weight.
Is there anyone out there accused of being too small? My family is supportive and already populated by slim-framed folks (we have Marfan's Syndrome). How do you deal with internal/external negativity? Do you have a motto you use for weight loss or emotional security?
Thank you for your support.

Fat people get to say things like "thick is sexy" and "i'd rather be fat and happy than skinny and sad" while they post picture of their donut bacon cheeseburgers...
Why can't skinny people do the same?
lol it doesn't matter what you look like, people are going to have positive and negative opinions. The important thing is to be whatever size you WANT to be. Nobody else has to live in your body so make it your own. Just get that middle finger ready for anyone with a negative comment!0 -
You said everything I needed to hear, thank you, Shawn.0
