Without going into too many details... I'm looking forward to hosting a house guest soon who wants to eat a raw food diet.
Any advice on a favorite recipe?
Jicama Slaw is one of my favorites that just pop in my mind, and she might really enjoy an exotic Jicama, and I can make a ton of it ahead of time and it tastes fine the next day.

There are a lot of fabulous recipes for both mains and deserts on the Rawtarian site. It's one of my favorites for ideas:

You might want to ask if she's low fat vegan. If so, go along the lines of Fully Raw Kristina. Simplicity is best for digestion. When I'm a guest, I am SO grateful just for chopped veggies and nutty/herby puree! Be prepared to make a large quantity. I feel so bad when they go out of their way because it takes so much time and resources, sometimes they don't even make enough, used to cooked food proportions. Raw vegans should be eating 2500 calories a day, at least. Look into what Fully Raw Kristina eats in a day.0

What is significant about eating at least 2500 calories a day for raw vegan?0 -
She's not a raw vegan, or even eat a raw food diet or vegan diet at all.
She's just interested in the raw food trend, and has been very supportive of my dietary needs in the past, and I'm down with veggies, so I want to play up the raw food thing to be a good hostess.0 -
