loosing weight but no inches/cm

I've lost this week which means im on the right track but lost no inches on my waist or hips in 4 weeks.

I only lost 2cm from left thigh and 2cm from left arm.

I started running – twice a week (just the c25k) not great at running and though I would see my hip/waist and belly cm reduce but no joy.

Any advice….

    Fat loss is genetic, you can't spot reduce. Keep losing weight at a moderate pace, keep a good amount of protein and ideally resistance training and you'll eventually see those areas lose. Also, possible retention from exercise. My measurements fluctuate
