I know that this journey is not going to be easy at all and I know that i am going to have my good days and bad days. But i really want to this and i really want to live a long healthy life and i don't want to died at a young age. I would love to help anyone as much as i can and i would love to have people supporting me. I am so gald to have people give me adivce and help me to become healthy. I am so exitced to start my journey and to become a new person. I know there are going to times where i want to just quit and never come back but i know this is what i really want and what is best for me and i know i am going to be so proud of myself in the end.

Welcome Jessie! Love your post! You have a great attitude . I've been dieting and exercising by myfitnesspal a few months. before that I began my journey 6 months prior I believe and I stopped cause my dog got sick and some medical things I needed to handle. I will say it's hard to lose weight. it takes a lot of dedication, courage, self-esteem, and patience and perserverance. I exceeded my goals and I have little left to go which i'm so proud of. From someone who never really ate that good and hardly ever drank water and was very sedative (not proud to say that -- not at all -- but honest), I have done really well for myself. overall I have lost 30 lbs and I need another 10-23lbs to go to be ideal or average weight.
I think your on the right track.. first off your attitude is great! You know from my mom things that losing weight entails so you have support, an inspiration, and seen the ins and outs. So in a sense you might see the real side of it. It's hard work.
Here's my suggestions. It might be a lot but I hope I can be helpful.
Water I think is huge part of dieting and just getting your body balanced. there are charts if you google on how much water and even equations on how much you should drink daily. The best way to check is like dr. oz said it's gross sorry but check your urine. Now to lose weight you need plus some. Water in your daily diet is included. Water helps breakdown the food you eat also it helps with many things... Water is best drinking it warm or hot and ALONE. not with food. if it is before food about 1/2 hour prior. Sometimes you should drink water to maximize it's effects. 2 -8oz in the morning within 15 minutes of wAKING. this vitalizes your organs. then I have 2 before lunch. 2 before supper and 1 early evening and 1 before bed ( that's for blood pressure) anytime you sit down a long time or stand like in shower or lye down you want to drink one. Anything your sedatary. Also you want to try to do it 1/2 hour before food consumption. now if you add in any more water you want to either add it on to this or subtract. working out 1/2 before. 1 1/2 during. 1 after. So that's the water I do. I have a plastic cup I mark on it my water and I have it measured so I know how much I drink.
About eating: If your gonna eat bad try to eat bad before 10:30.
Your meals should be around 400 calories. two snacks you could do if you'd like 150 give or take. Try not to eat past 7pm.
Get to bed reasonable helps midsection in women.
My schedule I do is I get up weigh myself weekly or more. then get my water. help my dog. Grab one piece of fruit. eat it. grab water and my cup go exercise for 45-1hour cardio. ( that's preferable for one who wants to be thin.. don't worry about weight lifting. you can do that lightly but Aerobics, walking, jogging, swimming, biking, hiking, dance, all that stuff is good. AND ANY MOVEMENT Is good even around the house cleaning or moving around going up and down stairs to hopping gates, gardening etc. during exercise I may have a glass to two glasses of water. its important to have most of your water consumption before mid afternoon I read also warm/hot and alone. except when exercising or temp is hot cold is fine and guzzling go right ahead
breakfast most important is have 15-20 some grams of protein. read on the sides of packages to find and add up. You may use other partial proteins to do that. Good examples though are cereal and skim milk and a serving of fruit. cereals I would stick with high fibers multigrain. Best for nutrition with cal intake only 1/2 cup is fiberone original. Other cereals I like are special k multigrain, or oats and honey. Quaker oatmeal with fruit on top is good also add in a lil skim milk. All this if you don't eat so plain you will get adjusted to over time. eggs are best. Cause of protein and one of the lowest of all cal for protein foods. Banana's are good cause they fattening for a fruit but they give you all your days energy if you need that, I know I like energy myself. plus so many benefits in bananas. Eggs poached, or hard boiled might be best choice on how to cook eggs, but omlet is best cause you get for amount of calories tons of vitamins and mixed groups. that's what you want. Mixed groups of foods and low cal.
fruit is and veggies should be often eaten. Stay away from fruit juice if you can add in real fruit instead. Sugar content is high and not always all fruit juice anyways.
my exercise I do is hip hop abs. but I started smaller real small caus ei never really exercised or dieted before I did total fitness easy shaper. it's a rod with tension chords. easier than gym but effective. and for someone starting out and not used to exercise like me perfect! I really like hip hop abs. hip hop abs depends on the person might be a lot of activity and coordination but don't worry just try to keep up and if you can't at least you doing it. Consistancy and trying counts for everything. if you fall back get back on it.
these last few weeks been sick haven't really done much my lungs and cold/flu. I can't wait to get back.
I know this was long.. but if I helped you then that's what I hoped. I wish someone gave me all of this. save me tons of research. I taught Myself and continue to read on experts and different educational things.
I suggest a chart.. to help keep you motivated and check on your progress. not just this one but on your routine I like charts anyways helped me
Good luck I wish you the veryyyyyyyyyy best WELCOME0
