What do you do on your day off?

Hi! I often find myself bored and reaching for food on my "day off" from working out. I will occasionally get in a quick walk which serves as a great distraction or paint my nails. I have done both already and still wanting to just EAT. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Wake up, go for a run, eat a nice healthy but bigger than usual breakfast (will usually be more like a brunch), then do something fun like go for a swim or read a book outside, or maybe go window shopping with my family. Then I have a smaller dinner, followed by catching up on my favorite TV shows0

I usually spend my off days busy around the house (grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning) or out of the house (shopping, visiting with friends/family, taking the dogs to the dog park). I also like to do some light stretching/yoga, which usually takes about an hour.0

Errands. Meal plan. Laundry. Other chores. Take my kids swimming or to a movie. All the other things I put off all week in order to go to the gym.
Occasionally, yoga.0 -
I clean my house, do laundry, run errands, and spend time with my grandson. I also have a business to operate aside from my full time job. I agree that you have to keep yourself busy. Part of the reason I gained too much weight was because I ate when I was bored or stressed. I no longer do it. Now that the summer is here, I do outside work like cleaning and gardening. I also grab my music and water bottle and walk around my community.0

My dd13 began playing softball this year. She is hooked and wants me to practice with her every time she sees me not doing very much.0

Staying still or participating in habits which led you to overeat in the past(in my case I would snack a lot while playing videogames) is a bad idea. What I will do is go for a walk to the local park and read a book, or go to the beach and tan. I also tend to focus on catching up on all the household chores like cleaning and doing laundry. If you do go out leave your credit cards and money behind and bring a protien bar. The great thing about protein bars is that since they generally taste bad, you will only eat them when you feel really hungry and even if you do eat them they are only 2-300 calories.0 -

word...I'm not sure what this "free time" thing is all about...I wouldn't know anything about that.
Also, hobbies are cool...0 -
Thanks for all the great suggestions0
