Has anyone ever heard of or even better, actually done PiYo?

My friend, who is a BeachBody Coach is trying to get me to signup, but I don't want to waste money if it's not worth it....

It just came out a couple of weeks ago, so I'm not sure too many people have even started it yet...sorry I couldn't be more help.

I've actually taught it at the gym and have taken classes over the past several years. I've seen some of the previews for the home video and I think it's going to be really good. It's a workout--- don't be fooled by the low-impact stuff. You're lungin', plankin' and tricep-push-upping a lot! LOL! It will make you lean! I really like it and am planning a challenge group for it in August when I finish up my challenge group for 21 Day Fix starting next week. Highly recommend it!

I'm only on the second week so I can't speak to my own personal results but I feel a lot stronger already and I'm loving it! I love Chalene.

It just came out on a DVD program but has been around for years but only taught in classes. It just depends on what you are interested in, it's inspired by yoga and pilates moves. Look on YouTube, there are a few videos you can look at that instructors have recorded, also on the BB site there is a little video of what the DVDs have on them.

I've tried all but one of the workouts and am disappointed. As with all programmes, it depends what you've done before. I'm not super fit by any means but after doing the yoga and Pilates in P90x3, I felt this was too easy. Just as I begin to feel an exercise, she moves onto a new muscle group.

That's really a bummer but sounds like it's great for a beginner to this type of exercise, which I am. I have only done upper and lower and it is challenging for me. Will take me time to improve the moves for sure.

I was going to wait a few weeks to see folks' 1st month results before ordering...but I just got an email from FedEx confirming that they delivered my discs today. Whoops! I'll be starting this weekend ;)

And if I hate the workout? I've taken Beachbody up on their 60 or 90 day money back guarantee before. I adored Insanity and T25, but HATED P90x3. I returned it after 2.5 months of use, no problem.

Thanks everyone!! I think I'm going to try it out. I LOVE Pilates and have recently started to like yoga, so I'm assuming it will be good for me. Only time will tell I guess....
