Just gave some remarks to a group of young employees and ended up feeling like I sounded like a tool so just wanted to share the pain and ask people which is worse?

That's a hard one...I think it depends on how much of a tool you were, otherwise feeling like an idiot feels worse to me.
O.o Does that make me a tool?

Thanks mikecrazy. I guess saying things that make me look like a tool also makes me feel like an idiot.

But it's nice to see that there are some people who don't worry at all about being tools.

I don't really worry much about either. If you worry about stuff like that you don't take chances and you get nowhere in life. Life without risk is nearly existing not enjoying

As someone with social anxiety, I quite often feel like I've been an idiot or a tool... I'd say they're both equal. :\
