zephyr HxM heart rate monitor(s)

Zephyr makes 2 HRMs One that supports android and windows phone, and is rechargeable ($75). Zephyr also make another HxM (you would think they would have given it a different model name....) that uses low power bluetooth (and will work with my android). It is not rechargeable, and sells for 50. They both work with a lot of tracking / fitness apps. Has anyone had dealings with both and could give me their opinion by comparing the two?
