Drink water, exercise, find a healthy food to substitute for what your brain is telling you to eat, take a walk, call a friend, journal, take a shower/bath, go shopping (my favorite), go to your closet and sort out the clothes you want to get into and the ones you currently wear and the ones that are too big, scrub the bathroom floor, etc. etc. Find something to do to keep your brain busy and your body busy so you aren't giving into the temptations.

Love the clothes idea. I did that yesterday. Surprise, surprise! I can fit into my 12's Granted....I can't bend over LOL...but they zipped up!
  • I carry with me at all times a tiny little slinky, and when I feel the urge to want to eat I break out the slinky and play with it for about 5 minutes, and by then my urges to eat have gone because I occupied myself, sounds kind of silly but works wonders for me
