I'm hungry!!

I've tried to be so good today as it's my first day, but I'm sat here after dinner and I'm still hungry! I only ate half of my stir fry as it was horrible and have just had jelly for afters...

I've got 190 cals left, shall I save them for a yoghurt in a few hours if I'm still hungry by then?

Maybe it's psychological?

    Drink water! Wait 20 minutes then drink some more if your still hungry then i would have a apple.... Cut it up and eat it slow some times it takes our bodies and mind to realize we are full.... Also make sure your eating enough protein and fiber that will keep you feeling full longer also!

    You need to eat more high-fiber foods. These fill you up. Some high fiber foods are pumkin (when spiced with pumpkin pie spice, sans crust, it is only about 50 calories per cup and it will fill you up like a meal. Research the high-fiber foods and you will be surprised. Good Luck.:flowerforyou:
  • I have that feeling after dinner often. I have recently discovered a product from Crystal Light called 'Hunger Satisfaction" You just pour it into your water, shake it up and drink it. It tastes great and it keeps me full for hours. Like tammietifanie said, drinking water is the best idea possible. Also, if you have cravings, you should wait 5-10 minutes and do something outside of the kitchen and your craving should subside. Hope this helps! I have started using this site. I used to be on Spark People. These tips have worked for me. :)

    before you eat, and throughout the day.. drink plenty of water.

    then when you eat, eat slow and be sure to pay attention to the portions that you plan to eat.
