iphone arm band for running?

My shorts don't have very deep pockets so I don't want my phone to fall out whilst I'm running, are the iphone arm band cases any good? They look handy but I don't want to waste my money on them. Any experiences?

I have a pink one that's pretty decent for running. Only downside is I have to take the case off. Its a pain.

I just bought one at Walmart for $15 (Canadian), it's the ex large size and hold my Samsung S3 no problem, not sure how that compares to an iPhone. The strap is big enough for larger arms (I have 100+lbs to lose and it fits my arm).

I used to use this one but it sucked for running IMHO... the cover surround the home button blocked a lot of apps with stop buttons and bars at the bottom of the app. So I ended up waisting time trying to move the phone around to stop it. You get what you pay for right?? Haha

I have a Griffin I picked up at TJ Maxx over two years ago for my iPhone works great! It was under $10, and nice thing about a shop is you can usually check the fit with your phone while in the store. TJ Maxx and Marshalls usually have a decent selection of them. Check the Activewear section in the ladies department, and in the men's - they often put different stuff in the two places and you never know what deals you'll find there!
