Calories Burned Lifting?

Sooooo....today I have my gym induction and will be able to start some lifting.
Out of interest I entered a lat pulldown on MFP and it doesn't actually give you any calories burned.
I'm sure some must be!!
Bearing in mind I have no technology (cannot afford/use HRM or anything as I don't have a computer or the internet...I do this on my phone which is also somewhat poo) is there a way I could work it out? Rough guess? Or do I ignore it, log only cardio and see what happens, adjusting cals til I find the right balance?
I intend to go 4/5 times a week (I want my moneys worth!!) with some swimming, possibly switching out with classes if there are any I fancy.

It won't give you a calorie burn under strength training. Probably because it would be a random guess at how many calories any given person burns in each particular lifting activity. It's only there for tracking as far as I can see. If you log it under cardio as strength training in general, it will give you a calorie burn estimate. I think mine come out around 160 for 45 minutes, but I always change it to 1 as I account for it in my activity level settings and don't need to track calories to eat back.0
