Hey All,
I started my weight loss journey on 1st August 2010 and today is my first weight loss target date... I had set a target to loss 35 pounds but I could lose 34.2 pounds... I fell short by 0.8 pounds to achieve my first target.
Status as of today - 15th November 2010
Weight Loss - 34.2 pounds
Total Inch Loss - 19.5 inches
Hips - 5.1 inches
Waist - 6.3 inches
Upper Arm - 1.8 inches
Thigh - 3.9 inches
Calf - 2.4 inches
My next target date is 1st Jan 2011.... I shall surely keep you posted about my progress.
The weight loss journey has kinda become bit difficult. Its no more easy to shed those pounds.. I did expect this to happen and I am not quitting.. I shall continue putting my best efforts towards achieving my goal. I have included more protein in my diet and try to eat less carbs as the day goes by... Currently my diet is split as – 45% cabs, 35% proteins and 20% fat….The daily calorie allowance is 1200 calories(exercise adds more to it)
It would be great if you could share some tips for weight and inch loss with me... Your experience will only help me achieve my goals better.
I really want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your endless support and motivation. Hugs to all !! :flowerforyou:
Luv n Hugs,

First off- WTG. 35 lbs from August to November is a solid goal and you should be mondo proud that you've come so close to it.
Any tips I have to ward off stagnation in my weightloss journey- VARIETY!! I have a couple of variations of my weekly workout routines (I am really into running, so they are all based around that) and on Sunday nights I sit down and chart out which one I think will fit into my schedule that week. It almost never stays completely the same- life just is not that plannable- but I really like it that way. I do running 3 days a week, strength training 1 or 2 x per week, a hell ton of walking (bf's apt is about 2 mi away), and then pepper in either pilates or yoga or dance or anything else I'm in the mood for.
Anyway, that's whats working for me. Best of luck in your next Target period!0 -
I'll second that! WTG.0

Great job! I have been on here for almost the same time and only have lost 19.4 lbs! You are doing amazing!0

wow! thats exceptional! WTG! I've lost 22 lbs since starting in August and I thought that was pretty good! lol. I agree with the others. change up your workout. Your body may be used to it and refusing to change at this point..change it up....alternate your days with other workouts....keep your body guessing..and losing! :-) good luck on your next goal!0

Sounds like you're doing great. Just keep working at it.0

Me too! I think you REACHED IT!!
34.2lbs in 3.5 months is AWESOME loss too hun. That averages out at 2.5lbs per week, which is excellent for your first hurdle. They say if you lose more than 2lb per week you're not losing fat! So you really are doing GREAT!!! Fat is ALL you want to lose  I just say, keep doing what you're doing and expect it to slow down the further down you get!!! And remember, this is a marathon, not a race :flowerforyou:
So proud of you friend0
