Walking by itself?

I've been having a hard time building the stamina to do longer than 8 minutes of cardio at a time, due to my sedentary life for the last few years and my 3 year old being home with me alone all day til his dad comes home at 5pm. So I've been walking few miles a day and trying to jog walk jog walk as a bit of cardio. My question is can I do just this everyday and still lose the few pounds I want to lose?i I'm at an average healthy weight for my size and age but I have a tummy and love handles now, not to mention a little cellulite in my thighs.... Will working do anything for my fupa??

Walking & jogging will help, but good fat-loss plans also include full-body strength training, so you don't end up "skinny fat". If you don't have strength equipment, Google "Nerd Fitness".

    Nothing wrong with walking.

A calorie deficit is what will make you lose weight. A lot of walking is easy to recover from and can help you develop more of a calorie budget so you don't feel like you're starving yourself to lose weight.

Just get active any way you can. As long as you stick to it and do it consistently it'll be a positive thing.

Exactly. You really don't need anything more than caloric deficit, so adding in exercise will help with weight loss, as well as other cardiovascular, physiological, and psychological aspects.

Omg I looked it up and used it already two days in a row. I'm almost able to do the whole circuit four times lol! Thanks for telling me about that cuz i like it. I have the ten minute trainer set so I started off using that a few weeks ago bUT I don't have enough stamina to do the entire 10 min exercise yet so I'm gonna start doing that again once I have more stamina. Do I enter the nerd fitness work out in my diary as circuit training or is there an actual option for strength training? Cuz yesterday I entered it as circuit training for 10 mins. Is that correct?

Yeah I can tell the benefits of walking are huge cuz I've been doing it for a few weeks now and I definitely feel a lot better mentally already because I was suffering from depression badly. And Ive been doing a 500 cal deficit and logging real well on here but I've been eating ban the calories that I burn... and I only need to lose like 6 lbs cuz my body weight is healthy for my size but I have love handles and fupa that I'm trying to tone and shed hope fully.
