Doubling time in gym

If you know you will not have time to do your normal daily workout, do you double up on your workout? For example, I workout four times a week for about 45 minutes doing TRX. I may not be able to do four days this week but thought about putting in extra time in the gym to 'make up' for the time that I will miss. I know spending an hour or more in the gym is a lot, but my rest period will be three days instead of two.

    No problem if you want to do that. You can also skip a day now and then.
