Feeling like I am at a very uncomfortable crossroads with my weight. Have put on a couple of kilos which is cool but now I find myself wondering which way to turn. If I had a magic wand I'd gain a good amount of muscle as would really like some definition and a bit of size in my shoulders particularly. But another part wants to escape into the comfort zone of going back down a kilo. Have been doing less cardio and more strength in last couple of weeks and have upped the protein but feeling a bit torn. Can anyone relate???

I can relate. I'm trying my ha end at the weight thing, but though I want to gain muscle, I like being lower in weight. Stupid, isn't it? I guess because we are brainwashed into thinking women need to be thin and that means, traditionally, at a low weight! I hate that. You fight with yourself all the time. I guess it just takes time to sink in what is truly important, it is something I'm working on.

Sorry, I am not sure what the answer is, but I can assure you that you are not alone with those feelings!

Yes, I can relate to that. Right now I want to increase muscle definition /core strength but don't want to increase weight, although that is virtually an impossible goal it appears. However, there are loads of folks out there who advocate upping protein and using light(ish) weights to get there. I guess we just have to track down the right ones :)
