I was doing well up until a few months ago - exercising regularly, watching my food intake, avoiding lots of desserts and I lost close to 10 pounds. People at work were noticing and commenting on my weight loss. Had I just kept on track, instead of letting everything go two months ago, I would have been very close to my goal weight. Now I have regained everything back! I am back to my just post Christmas weight! :(

Beginning yesterday, I have been making it my daily goal to stay within my calorie goal, to do some form of calisthenics, aerobic or weight training exercise every day and to reach 10,000 steps a day, every day at least for the next four weeks. So far I am on track, but sore from exercising muscles that haven't been used for a long time. I have decided to make this my goal instead of the weight loss. I can ensure every day that I reach these do-able goals and trust that I will get healthier and stronger.

Hey, I can't erase the past two and a half months, but I can help ensure that I don't gain another 10 pounds over the next few months.

All that matters is what you do from this point on. Yesterday ended at midnight.
