Calisthenics vs TRX

Which program do you think burns more calories if you exert the same amount of effort?

    If you're looking at exercise purely in terms of caloric expenditure you're doomed to failure before you start.

    Consider what your goals (other than weight loss......that happens at your table) are, the amount of time you have to commit to fitness and your own personal preferences, budget etc etc.

    One of the great things about calisthenics is that you need pretty much zero equipment to start and can develop a very high level of fitness based solely on body weight exercises. Having said that I have a TRX in my weight room, there are some pretty cool routines you can do with them and, if you travel, it'll fit in your luggage......
