SO, I have a couple of health probs, not serious at all, but they affect my diet...! I talked to my doctor today and basically, until I get an endoscopy.... He needs me to completely cut -Dairy, coffee, wine, and Chocolate from my diet for a week to see how my stomach will feel....... If I want to loose weight, I am not to eat complex carbs like bread, cereal, oats etc...
I hate eggs
I love chocolate, coffee, wine, etc
anything acidic kills me (acid reflux)
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SURVIVE!
What will I eat for breakfast???
It's easy for lunch+dinner.... a salad and some meat or some fish, but Breakfast?! Whatever shall I do?...-__-
Don't know how this could help, but- 5'3"... 18 years... 130 lbs.... just looking to loose around 10 lbs now, but I gain... VERY easily...

eat the same type of stuff for breakfast you do for lunch dinner?0

There are no laws that state you have to eat breakfast type foods for breakfast... Just have some lean meat and a salad, for example0

Dairy, coffee, wine, and Chocolate - OMG! There are no food groups left when you take these out of the equation
Breakfast could be any combination of the following .. fried bacon, caramelised onion, mushroom, bok choy or pak choy - fruit salad (well any fruit), there are plenty of options really I have not even thought hard yet0 -

Did your doctor say this part?
I don't know any human being on the planet who NEEDS to cut out complex carbohydrates to lose weight.0 -
Not sure if your Doc told you to cut carbs or you are choosing that on your own, but if it was your choice, maybe re-evaluate that. You can still have carbs...just work them into your target calories for the day....For examples...a few waffles for breakfast means you might choose a salad for lunch over a sandwich (to save on additional carbs, and additional cals). While the weight loss may occur quicker with limiting carbs, you would have to commit to limiting carbs or as soon as you start eating like you currently do what ever loss you've seen will come back (usually with additional weight). You may see a little slower loss, but something more sustainable in the long term if you learn to fit the foods (and haven't been restricted from) you enjoy into your diet. Hope that makes sense!0

I'm curious...did you eat those 3 brownies for breakfast today before your Dr. told you to cut out chocolate?
Also, what's up with your diary? Are you not logging everything? 200 calories on Friday and 300 on Saturday? If that's all you're eating than you have more serious issues than not being able to eat chocolate and wine for a week.0 -

My diary is scrwd up because I am on vacation, have random periods of internet access, live an unstable life (I sorta moved June 23rd and I'm moving again July 14)… and then again Sept 7th….. AND I have had friends living with me on this beautiful island… friends who love to eat 24/7.. I have simultaneously been exercising more than ever before, which is why even thø¨gh I was eating min 2,200 cals a day, I did not gain…..
I def did not eat anywhere near 200 and 300 calls a day and never could or would do that.
Look at my food diary in early May. (no exams, not as much stress, more stability),, not that weird a person, I promise;P0 -

No, my doctor did not tell me I NEEDED to cut out complex carbs…. but, anytime I eat carbs, they not only donot satisfy my appetite until I eat insane amounts, but also it makes me very hungry after 2 hrs…. whereas a good piece of meat will only leave me moderately hungry in at least 4 hours. This occurs according to my doctor because of an insulin surge that makes my blood sugar fall in two hours, thus making me tired and hungry~!
I still will have carbs, but they are gonna be in the form of vegetables! I can not live on waffles and salad, I am sorry.. I wish I could…..;/ haha lol…. Thank you for your kind advice though!!!;)0 -

Vegetables are complex carbs. I'm just sayin'... It sounds like what you find success with is cutting SIMPLE carbs. Just helping you with terminology.
(Edit to add: vegetables are complex carbs, protein and fat, just for the sake of precision.)0 -

I know, right! -_-… lol;P
THANK YOU YOU ARE A GENIUS…. why didn't I think of that? I'll blame it on lack of sleep…….;P0
