Any advice for what to do when you are just hungry and nothing seems to help?

    Keep drinking water! You'll be so busy running to and from the bathroom, you won't have time to think about eating! :-)

    I try to have various allowable snacks. -- some high calorie/ low sugar -- like nuts and fruits; or multi grain breads with low fat peanut butter -- that sort of thing. It's good to study people's food diaries too, to see what works for others. It's tricky to get the exact balance ... That's for sure!

    If you a trully hungry then you should eat.

    That is why 3 meals and 3 snacks is often recommended as you don't have as long to wait between eating and thus don't get hungry.
