Hey guys... anyone ever encounter constipation?! I thought I had eaten the right amount of food and nutrition, a lot of fibres and fruits, drank a lot of water, exercise, but then I face constipation these days. Something is really weird.

    1. Drink coffee
    2. Hit the track and do some sprints
    3. Run, don't walk, to toilet

can't see your diary, so make sure you're getting enough food and fats.

I noticed this too. I went way up on my fiber, fruits and veggies. It may be that I reduced my fat intake starches and reduced my food volume.

My Dr. says you don't HAVE to poop every single day, so missing a day here and there is okay, as long as you feel comfortable :) however if you feel pain, cramps, bloat, etc. then I'd definitely open your diary and let people check out what's going on.

I have had this problem here and there if my protein level is REALLY high and my carb level is REALLY low. I try to keep them balanced and I don't have any issues. Also... drink LOTS of water. Part of the problem is being dehydrated it doesn't allow everything to flow through and process the way it should.

I posted about this recently. It actually started around the time I increased my fiber with Quest bars, believe it or not. I re-introduced one cup of hot coffee per day and everything is pretty much back to normal.

I tried to eat around 1500 calories now. But I will increase it eventually. It's like, I always encounter constipation when i eat healthy 0.0

I have this problem every time I have tried to cut out the bulk of my fats and sugars (aka stay in my calorie goal). The healthier I eat, the worse it gets. I sit down and OD on sugar and it clears things up within a day or two, but kills my calorie count. No amount of fruit seems to help and I don't think I have hit my micro for protein since I re-started using MFP this last time. Its just such a wonderfully glorious experience. I just keep thinking, how am I supposed to loose weight if none of the food I put in me ever leaves?!

Fiber soaks up a lot of water- I know you said you drink more now but maybe you need even more due to your increased fiber?

I to had an issue when I started-Tho I realized it was from Taking calcium. Once I stopped taking supplements it got better. I do not stress a day without. Before I started eating healthy I would go weeks. That is why my colonoscopy was so bad. Now I go almost everyday and if I miss a day I add Metamucil and or Chew tabs of fiber and things get moving the next day.

I had it so bad once I wound up with xrays at the emergency to be told I was full of poop! I had been having small bm's so I didn't think that was it - but I was also bloated, extended, and nauseous ... I add Benefiber powder and Ultra-Fiber pills a few times a day as well as drink 12 plus cups of water a day and aim for 50 plus grams of fiber per day to stay regular - still only go every second day... but usually not painful...
