Labor Day Challenge

Labor Day is 16 weeks away. If anyone wants to do this with me please join!!:smile:

Current Weight: 208
Goal Weight Loss Per Week: 1.5lbs (or more:happy: :wink: )
Goal by July 4th: 190
LABOR DAY GOAL: 175

I decided to put the July 4th goal in there as a sort of mid way point. Wish me luck and good luck to all that decide to join me!:flowerforyou:

  • I'll join!! I'm already doing the 4th of July challenge and my goal for that is 140 pounds.

    I am not gonna call this a wt loss challenge but a total fitness challenge. labor day is approximately one month or so away from a half marathon I will run it and have a bunch of great pics of me in my lil running outfit(which I will be thin enough to wear) crossing that line, so I am in!!!!!

    Labour day goal approx 130 (funny thing is this is actually my final goal!)

    OK! I am doing the Memorial Day and July Goal challenges, but inside I have been thinking that LABOR DAY is when I can hit my (possibly) final goal weight. So I have just been waiting for this one. :tongue:

    Current weight: 176.6
    Memorial Day goal: 175
    July 17th goal (my vacation): 165
    LABOR DAY GOAL: 150

    Total pounds to Labor Day: 26.6
    Pounds per week: 1.67

    This is a little ambitious (I have been averaging about 1.5 pounds/week), but I think I can do it!!!! It is almost summer so I have no excuse not to get outside and exercise.

    When I started MFP last November I thought that end of summer would be realistic for my overall goal, so count me in!
    A few weeks ago I only had 10 lbs left and then I started slacking because of it and gained a little back. They say the last 10 is the hardest so I expect it to take me all summer...especially because I joined a gym and plan on toning up with more muscle.

    Start of MFP (nov 07) - 182.5
    Current weight - 150
    Goal - 138

    My tummy will never look like that due to 2 very LARGE babies, and very LARGE stretch marks EVERYWHERE, but you are an inspiration to what 150 looks like!

    I would like to join...for Mother's Day, I bought my mom 4 tickets to see the NY Mets, her favorite baseball team. It's the last year at Shea Stadium (their new one is being built for 2009), so this means an awful lot to her. We go every year, but I'd like to feel confident and fantastic this time. It's the weekend after Labor Day. :drinker:

    I'm in!!

    My body seems to be rebelling against any weight loss (I have been hovering at 10lbs. lost for about 3 weeks now; think my blood pressure meds have something to do with that). Anyways, hopefully I can get it kicked into gear and show a significant improvement by Labor Day.

    Current: 112 (? I don't WANT to know so I don't feel bad because I can fit into my XS pants right now...even with a tiny muffin top he he.)

    Labor day: ? about the weight but a much more TONED body. I want nicer arms :D:D

    and something about those love handles!

    So that's not a weight goal per se but losing weight is easier than me toning/gym cause it's very hard to find a sitter so I can go :(
