New to site. Trying to lose 65lbs

I'm a 32 yr old female from ohio. I'm trying to drop 65 pounds, when i was younger i use to be VERY active and as i've gotten older i've tended to get more lazy. I've been pushing myself each day to walk 1.6 miles and my other half joins me sometimes a friend or two. I'm going to be starting Zumba classes once and week and Drum alive. Something new to try to lose this weight i get bored very quickly and that tends to make me drift off diets so this time, i'm like why not try something new and what looks fun. I start my first Zumba class with my other half tomorrow night im pretty excited. I've been def changing my habits in eating. I've been trying to find lots of healthier recipes. Me and my other half entered a Color Run Cancer 5k for Sept i fig i def have the time to get ready for it. And what's more exciting is i have never done this before nor ever thought i would want too. Trying to stay as positive as possible.
