hi, i'm new to this website and i was hoping if someone could help figure this out, i've read a lot of different forums but i'm still confused. very confused.
My BMR is around 2100.
About 2 weeks ago i decided that it was time to loose weight and so i started eating healthier and exercising, and i'm afraid to not be eating enough calories. I used to eat out all the time and now i'm cooking my meals and have a pretty good idea of how many calories i'm eating which is about 1500-1800.
So now here's where i'm confused, i'm burning about 1500 from working and running 5k miles a day, so if on average i'm in taking 1800 calories and burning 1500 that leaves me with 300 calories, which i know is terrible. Again i'm new to this and i wasn't paying attention until i saw that i lost a ton of weight in a matter of days which is great and all but not healthy and i don't want to set up myself for failure.
so my question is, if my bmr is 2100 and i'm burning 1500 calories already does that mean i should be eating 2800 calories since i'll be burning 1500 leaving me with a 800 calorie deficit?
please don't be harsh, i'm a noob and i'm just trying to get some help to loose weight in a healthy manner.
thank you.
