Hello,
my name is Danielle and I have only just joined mfp and hope to loose 10-15lbs by the end of September, ready for me starting university, and loose 20lbs in total. I have my app set to 'loose 2lbs a week' so hopefully this is do-able. I try to work out in the gym daily/ every other day, walk my dogs and I have a stationary bike at home- though i use the calorie counter on the mfp app rather than the bike because it drastically over estimates (250kcals in 25 mins on home bike, 100kcals in 23 mins on a gym bike which asks my age and weight).
Realised I should probably add more information then I have:
I am 5" exactly and currently weight 150lbs/ 10st 10 and would like to get down to 9st 13 and below for when I start uni and continue loosing until I am around 8st 5 which is in the middle of the healthy range on my BMI.
My current measurements are:
34 bust
27 waist
42 hips and I would like to tone up and make myself less of an over exaggerated pear shape. Before I started gaining weight a couple of years ago I was nicely even with my measurements and able to wear dresses etc that were one size.
I have really struggled with the concept of eating all of my calories back and toning down my emotional eating, I have discovered I eat when I stress out (I have been barcoding everything I eat and the correlation is when I am stressed/ emotional I eat things I should not).
Would really like to make some new friends and become a part of the mfp community
