Struggling with patience.

I find it amazing, how it seems like the weight that I have gained, has appeared overnight. Which I know this isn't the case, I'm sure it crept up, slowly. It is hard having patience, I want to see results. I'm on my third week in, I guess it is true one you turn 40, it starts getting harder, to drop weight. I know quick results do not pay off in the long run, but dang I wish there was a little magic some where

That's why the snake oil sellers make so much money selling little magic fixes. Look at it as a life change for the better. Once the weight is off, if you go back to eating "normally" the weight will come back. If you make up your mind you are changing, the changes will be your new "normal" and you can simply increase calories to maintenance. Yes there are mornings I want to sleep in and days I would love to eat a whole box of cookies but that is no longer my "normal and I can't give in to old bad habits.0

I feel ya! Patience has never been my strong suit! I just keep reminding myself that good things come to those that wait.... And work their butts off (literally)! Lol! Hang in there!0
