Macro manipulation

I just started MFP yesterday in order to take off 20 lbs of fat I have put on since December and my doc said my "cholesterol is super high, especially for someone your age." In order for me to get to 180 lbs, the app suggest a 2110 calorie diet which seems about right.
I follow a powerlifting workout regimen and am training to compete. My question is what are some optimal macronutrient percentages to implement in order to maintain the most amount of strength while dieting?
I was thinking 35/45/20 C/P/F?
Thanks in advance and God Bless.

I'm using 30/40/30 right now and my cut is going well. Not sacrificing strength or size but definitely losing fat. I definitely make sure to get my healthy fats and protein but carbs i dont worry too much about...they tend to fluctuate a bit.
Thats just what i do...no science behind it.0
