Injured, but need to Excercise

I have been taking care of 2 ill parents for the past few months so exercise has been a low priority, but I need to stay active and lose weight. On July 4th I finally used my brand new very nice bike to ride with friends. Unfortunately, I crashed and injured my ribs so high impact exercise is out for a while as well as some weight lifting. Any suggestions for ways to work out while I heal - besides walking?

    Do you have access to a bicycle (or a spinning machine) or a pool?

    I have a Y membership so stationary bike is an option. Not sure I can swim right now - still working through the pain of the injury.
