feeling depressed with PCOS

this is more like a rant, and i really need motivation. A couple of years ago i was diagnosed with pcos. at age 13. (I am now 18) I have spent my entire teen years at the gym, running 10 K's with ease, yet i am fat. no matter what. even when I adjust my diet. I have started 30 day shred a month ago, and zero change. I make sure to get a rest day each week, and when I exersize i really push myself. I am honestly just sick and tired of all of it. the only joy I really find is in when my thin friends laugh at me then i take them to the gym and outrun them by a full hour.

to lose weight you need to eat less than you're burning. start weighing your foods and counting your calories.

believe me, I have been on a doctor ordered diet. My mom lost 90+ pounds in less than a year and we were eating the same thing. I am just very against taking weight loss medicine like the dr recommends for pcos

Honestly, it isn't as easy as just eat less. I understand. My Dr. once explained it to me by comparing the hormones my body was producing to steroids. Try cutting out carbs and do count all your calories. If you eat even a bite of something put it on your list.
You may find that metformin is very beneficial. This is not a weight loss drug. This drug is used by diabetics and for PCOS patients to help your body process insulin better.
Have your Dr. test your blood sugar if you already haven't. It is very difficult to lose weight when you have PCOS.
That being said, it is your body. If you are not comfortable taking medications, don't. If your Dr. is pushing you maybe you should see a different Dr.
    Good Luck, keep trying.
