Hi Guys! So I'm usually the one to motivate people and help people reach their goals, but lately I've been in a really bad rut and I'm ready to get out, hell maybe I just need some support so I came on here. Haha I used to binge on food constantly, it was a huge problem to the point where I became bulimic. But I pushed through that and no longer have a problem with bulimia. Although I still do have a problem with food binging and just food in general. The last month I have wanted nothing but garbage food, and I can't stop eating. I'll even go to the store and buy milk just to make biscuits and gravy or something. I just have no self control lately and I don't know why. I haven't been to the gym. I would really like to start working out again, but I think I want something to do at home. The only problem is I have really bad knees, so I can't do bending and or jumping. So jumping jacks/burpees/squats/ "all the fun exercises" I can't do anymore. Anyone have any words of wisdom for being stuck in a rut and some good muscle building exercises to do at home that are easy on the knees. I'm 19- 5'3 1/2- around 126 right now.TYIA

I think first you should consider talking to your doctor just to make sure everything is ok and that you're doing the right things and that your weight loss goals are realistic and achievable. This is something I really struggled with but now I'm focused on weight loss purely to ensure I am healthy.
As for being in a rut, it just takes one time where you stop doing the wrong thing and do the right thing. For example, even though you want junk food, force yourself to do something constructive instead, like eating a healthy meal or snack, taking some exercise or anything else to prove to yourself that you have the strength and the will to make the healthy choices for your long-term well-being.
p.s my knees aren't great, cycling on the stationary bike works best for me.0
