Need to lose weight for surgery

5 years ago I was diagnosed with Liposarcoma in the pelvis. In Sept 2009 a large tumour was removed from my body, I have a scar from the sternum to my groin. The remainder of the tumour in my buttock was removed in January this year.

Now the tumour has returned and I need a further operation to remove it from my pelvis.

Until I was 30 I was a skinny guy and over the years I've put on a pound or two. At 43 at my first weigh in i was 15 stone, I don't ever recall being heavier than 14 stone ever..

Anyway my goal is to loose around 3 stone, at 1.5 lb a week. I'm making progress with the app and by using Vshape milk shakes for breakfast and sometimes lunch. Hunger control is good.

As i have a slight loss of mobility due to the surgery on my hip/buttock I'm going to leave any training until my weight drops below 14 stone.

I did use to enjoy lifting some weights but that was over 10 years ago.
