Body fat % loss advice please

Hi,
I am currently 8 stone 2lb and am 5"3.
I am wanting to lose 2lbs but my main aim is to reduce my body fat % as whilst I am not over weight I have some fat particularly around my stomach area that I would like to get rid of.
Currently I am eating 1200 calories with a ratio of 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat (except weekends when this can go down the pan- high carb and fat meals out or takeaways sometimes reaching 2,000 calories) . I think my TDEE is about 1500 calories and the past few weeks I have only managed to exercise twice a week (mixed cardio and strength).
Does anyone have advice as to whether my current habits are going to get results? I'm aware that weekend slips aren't wise but I l also need to be realistic as I will often attend social occasions where eating is occurring! Any advice would be really helpful as I am not wanting drastic weight loss just fat loss. I've also read that to lose stomach fat 70% of it is eating and 30% exercise?!
Thanks

as long as you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight. if your aim is to reduce body fat i strongly recommend lifting weight so you can minimize muscle loss while you lose weight. your macro split looks good. eating 1200 when your tdee is 1500 is also a good choice, you dont want to rush this, especially if you only have a bit of fat to lose
i would say its more like 90% diet and 10% exercise honestly, it is much harder to burn off a calorie than to abstain from eating it in the first place0 -
