...and I've lost 2 stone, run my first 5.6k, joined a gym, gone vegetarian and got a new wardrobe.

People ask how I've done it and I tell them I eat less and move more. They're always really suprised, but it is that simple. Logging with MFP helps me get the maths right, but it's just a matter of numbers.

I'm so glad I discovered the app!

    Near enough. I lost the first 12lb without going to the gym/running, I was working out for the remaining 17lb. You don't need to exercise to lose weight, but it helps with toning and if you work out, you can eat back those exercise calories and thus eat more food. I love my food still, but I've got the hang of portion control now.

    Thanks, I'm really pleased with my progress (the run was today!) and most importantly, it feels like a real lifestyle change, not another faddy diet.
