Vitamin C and running

Just wanted to share this in case it helps anyone else...

I read earlier this week about taking 1,000 mg of vitamin C an hour or two before a run to improve breathing. I drink EmergenC packets everyday anyway, so made sure it coincided with running time today.

It REALLY made a difference, and improved my pace. I only run at 5 mph, and today I felt so good by the last segment I ran at 5.5...Anyway, it felt great to not feel so beat down at the end of the session. Hope it helps someone else!
