HARD TO LOSE WEIGHT IF CAN'T EXERCISE?

I have not been able to exercise for a year because a back injury and then i had spine surgury for it a month ago, I don't know when I will be able to and get the clearance from my Dr. to exercise. How much harder is it going to be for me to lose weight since I can't exercise?

No - as long as you keep a calorie deficit you will lose weight. It just means you will not have as many calories to eat as you would if you were exercising.

I wont lie the weight loss will be slower and as consequence take longer but as long as u stick to your daily calorie llowance u will lose weight as you are creating a deficit

Agree with above post. If you log your calories accurately and stick to a calorie deficit then you will lose weight without having to worry about exercise.

Exercise does burn extra calories which can be great for treats and it's great for fitness and health, but solely to lose weight you can without a doubt do that just by controling your diet.

Depends on how limited your movement is.... Can you still walk, move your arms? Exercise comes in many forms, and long as your moving that's exercise :)

well I can move my arms, I can walk of course but carefully, no BLT (bending, lifting or turning) i'm still using a reacher, lol, I am working on my foot in physical therapy, it stayed partly numb after surgury. So I will focus on my arms and feet :D My Dr. did say soon I could start slowly and carefully taking walks.....thanks for the input!
