Right, this is the one aspect of my diet I struggle to get enough of. Any tips on high fibre foods?

Much appreciated

Most of my fibre comes from fruits and veg. Don't know how helpful that is though.

Beans are where it's at. Seeds are great too but beans in particular are crazy for fiber.

I think I need to start eating more veg! Have some with every meal maybe.

Just bought some kidney beans for my fajitas later on :-) That's a decent start

You could supplement with psyllium husks to book soluble fibre.

I see in your diary that you use protein powder. I like to use it mixed with spinach and fruits to make a nice sweet drink. Averages 6-7g of fibre per drink.

Woah! Gotta get some of that stuff in my life! 7.4g of fibre in 10g!

    That'll make life easier!

    Thanks

So make up a protein shake in a blender with water/milk and some spinach and fruits? Will try this.

    Thanks

Chia seeds in the shake are another option, or milled flax / linseed.

Bran, raspberries, mushrooms are other fibre sources.

These too! I used to add flax/chia seeds to the smoothies, I need to start doing that again. It really doesn't change the taste, and it adds some healthy fats.

Even eating lots of veggies, etc, I had problems hitting my fiber goal until I added in some fiber gummy supplements.

From the bit of looking around today it definitely seems beans are the way to go, and that Psyllium Husks :-)
