Guilt Free Vacation

I will be on vacation for the next 5 days and during this time I will be doing some planned biking and swimming. But I'm also going to enjoy some food I don't normally eat and drink more alcohol than usual. I know on Tuesday the scale will be up 5 to 8 pds and I'm going to have to convince myself that I did not eat 20000 calories over my TDEE. I know that starting on Tuesday I will be back in my schedule for cardio and will be monitoring more closely what I am consuming. Knowing all of this - how do I have a guilt free vacation?

its all about mentality. you know that 5 days wont kill your weight loss. this is a life long change (i would hope) so 5 days is nothing. even if you do manage to gain 5 lbs by going over 3500 every day, you have the tools and the knowledge to burn it off. just make sensible choices, dont go crazy at buffets and you have nothing to stress over. its a vacation, it should cause more stress, it should reduce it!
have a couple beers for me, i need a vacation0
