Italian sausage Lasagana no precooking noodles

1/2b ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage casing removed
2 jars 26oz your favorite pasta sauce divided
2 eggs
2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1 ts garlic powder
1 ts of Italian seasoning n 1 ts parsley flakes
1/2ts salt
1/4 ts black pepper
9-10 lasagna noodles uncooked
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
2 containers 15 oz ricotta cheese
350 degrees cal 415 per wedge
in large skillet brown beef n sausage on med heat drain fat stir in 4 c of spaghetti sauce reserve remaining sauce for serving beat eggs in large bowl add ricotta cheese 1 1/2 c of mozzarella cheese garlic powder Italian seasoning parsley salt n pepper mix well 13x 9 inch baking dish spread 1c of meat sauce onto bottom of dish top with 3 noodles spread half of cheese mixture over noodles repeat meat sauce noodles n cheese layer once top with remaining noodles n meat sauce making sure all noodles are cover with sauce sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c of mozzarella cheese n parmesan cheese cover with foil slip a few tooth picks on side of dish so foil won't touch noodles bake 45 mins remove foil bake 20 mins more till noodles r tender let set for 15 mins serve with remaining sauce

  • yes you can go through the stuggle, in trying to find all the ingredients in your local super market, and still not be sure on how to cook the meal with less calories, ad protein then your suppose to consume , check this out with, bistromd they offer delicious food without cheating your diet. You can say it's the easy way to lose weight while eating good,.

    I do something similar, except I break up the noodles in
    4-5 pieces, and par-boil them. Instead of ricotta, I use
    cottage cheese. (not a fan of ricotta) No eggs, but I add
    black olives, mushrooms, onions, garlic, and spinach.
    I use basil (fresh if I have it!) instead of parsley.

    The cool part is it's easy! No layers! Just mix it all up and
    pour in to a 13x9 baking dish! When it cools down, it still
    cubes up, and holds together. (have a few in the freezer) :tongue:
