I forgot to rinse out my plastic container that I use for protein drinks after the gym and it sat overnight. Dear lord the smell!

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting old protein shake smell out of a container?

    make a bleach and hot water solution, soak it in that for a few minutes, then rinse well.

    sometimes- replace.

    they just NEVER get better- I use milk w/ protein and holy lord in heaven. ONE DAY even for 8 hours. It's just to much.

    Usually I can salvage that- anything over a 24 hour period and I just throw them away.

    Fill it up with tomato juice. shake it up good, let it sit for 24 hours, then throw it away. You get rid of the stinky cup and the tomato juice. Win/Win!
