    I find that if I do it on my own I'm not getting the positions, posture or alignment correctly. Personally, I need a class. That way I'm not hurting myself by straining my wrist at a 90 degree angle while doing downward facing dog.

    I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet but...groupon, livingsocial, travelzoo, yelp, and amazon deals? Do they have these in your neighborhood?

    I'm super lucky to live in a location where within a 45 minute drive I have access to a ridiculous amount of deals. I just finished using a 20 class barre/yoga/pilates studio pass for $39. You can find great deals. Especially if you're willing to drive a bit.
