How to Lower Body fat without Losing Weight?

Hello, everyone! I would love any advice you have for me, as I have just started being active.
I've never been one to exercise. Occasionally I'd walk 4 miles, but the was the extent of it. I'm also 'Skinny Fat'; I'm 5' 3" and weigh 108 through no effort of my own. My body fat is in the 30%.
However, I was tired of being so weak and exhausted all of the time at 19! So 2 weeks ago I started C25k and I've never been so happy with how I look. I feel strong and more confident!
Anyways, now that you know my story, here are some questions for you experts out there.
I'm trying to lower my body fat without losing pounds. I DO NOT want to lose weight, I want to gain muscle mass and lower my body fat while training my muscles; I hear that the easiest way to lose fat is eating a calorie deficit but I'm not willing to starve myself.
Any suggestions on how to do this?
Thanks in advance!

What you are trying to accomplish is called a body recomposition. What you have to do is eat at maintenance calories and lift weights.
Search google for body recomps. You'll see a lot of good results.
Just make sure you actually have a well thought out and structured lifting routine. Going to the gym to lift weights without any thought behind it is wasted time and potential.0 -

Lifting weights sounds good; how heavy would you recommend for beginnings who've never lifted anything heavier than a bag of chips? And how many times to start with?
Please bear in mind I am physically puny.0
