10-15# to go with Carb Cycling

So far I've lost 53 pounds with exercise and watching my diet. Our trainer encourages a ratio of high protein, low carbs & low salt.
I'm seriously thinking of changing up my diet with carb cycling and continue my exercise program. My questions is:
I'm 67, does it matter? Does Fitness Pay use a Carb Cycling template? Or how should I configure Fitness Pal for Carb Cycling?
