Is this correct?

Hi guys, i'm wanting a 1kg weight loss per week and MFP says my BMR is 2417-2466

If i sit on a computer basically all day walking maybe 10 minutes out of the day would 1980 calories be too little for me to eat?

Once i get enough money (about a week from now) i'll be able to get a stationary bike and start adding my workouts via exercise tab. Should i then change my activity settings or keep it like that. Since i'll be doing my workout then going to work still sitting on the computer.
I'm 5'9 and 146.5kg's

It's a bit confusing.

It's a personal preference. You can chance your activity setting to reflect your new activity level and eat a bit more every day or you can add the workouts in and MFP will give you extra calories to eat on those days. I like to add in the exercises I do because I don't have a regular workout schedule and tend to do varying amounts of exercise each week, plus I find that 'earning' the extra calories motivates me to work harder. But some people prefer to just have the one calorie goal each day.

If you choose the latter option, many people recommend using this calculator: http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ to work out your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). This includes exercise. Those people then subtract calories from that number to come up with a caloric deficit depending on how much they want to lose per week. So for a 1lb loss you would subtract 500 calories from your TDEE each day.

Edit: to clarify, no you wouldn't add your exercise in mfp AND change your activity level, you would pick one or the other.
