Stopped using MFP a year ago - getting back on the wagon

I used MFP up until about a year ago, and since then I've gained a whole bunch of weight back. I didn't like how restricted I felt by the constant calorie counting, but I also don't like not fitting into my clothes. Looking for motivation and support on how to get back on track.

    Welcome back.

To succeed this time, think about what didn't work last time.

If you were feeling too restricted then chances are you set your calorie goal too low. With just 19.5 lb to lose, set your goal to lose 0.5 to 1lb per week and eat back exercise calories. This should give you a sustainable calorie allowance that does not leave you feeling deprived and gives adequate scope to enjoy all the foods you enjoy. Aim to meet your protein, fat, carbohydrate and fibre goals.

I am back on the site today for the first time in a year. It always comes at the thought of getting in a bikini again.
